I need to stop waiting so long to do these film reviews. It gets to the point where I don't even remember the film anymore, which very possibly could degrade the overall quality of this review. A shame. Although I will take a moment to point out that typing on something with a functional space bar and an actual "shift" key is a luxury after months of typing these reviews up in the computer lab.
Chinatown. What happened? Well that just so happens to be a very good question, for in this movie, you're can never quite confidentally say that you understand what's going on until the end of the movie. Oh, but the beauty at the end, where after hours of having your mind twisted and confused by the ever-unstable Jack Nicholson and friends, it all comes together. Masterfully done, in my highly professional opinion. It takes some serious movie magician abilities to tie such an abundance of loose ends and complex situations together. Bravo.
As for the ending, yeah it will suck all the happiness and optimism out of the most generally jubilant of characters, but isn't that what art is all about? making people feel crazy things.

yo mr masson ill finish this later
